About the role/Responsibilities

We are currently hiring Marketing Associates to manage and support the various marketing and digital marketing aspects of our brands. As a Marketing Associate, you will be in charge of implementing overall marketing strategy of the business as well as ensuring that it is implemented correctly.

General tasks and responsibilities include the following:

Collect and analyze data across different channels to provide optimization and insight
Collect, analyze and maintain an up-to-date database of competitors’ product information
Define market opportunity, identify product gaps to generate new ideas for product development
Support on key initiatives and goals in all areas of the business
Independently managing large projects in key areas of the business
Develop strategic plan for creative services process and production
Management of the decision-making process and prioritization of various projects and campaigns

Here are some of the specific activities related to digital marketing that you would be expected to oversee or take part in:

SEO

Carry out keywords research and ensure these keywords are properly optimised on our website by working with developers (onsite SEO)
Work on offsite SEO through a strategy of backlinks and guest posting, manage the entire process from having team members research a list of target blogs to making payment and ensuring the backlinks are created (offsite SEO)

Content Marketing:

Overlook content creation for our brand, from working with our writers to create content and then uploading it onto our blog
Research and sign up with content publishing platform and manage these relationships

Influencer Marketing:

Research and work with influencers on Youtube using software such as Revfluence & Famebit , and the equivalent of Upfluence & Shoutcart for Instagram
Manage existing relationships with our network of influencers and bloggers

Affiliate Marketing

Manage our existing relationship with an affiliate marketing agency to ensure they are delivering results and to provide any support they need

Social Media Marketing

Overlook the creatives creation process as well as scheduling the posts using the software Hootsuite to grow our presence on Facebook and Instagram

Growth Hacking

Develop and implement other creative viral / organic growth strategies including but not limited to Reddit marketing, Product Hunt marketing, forum marketing, Quora marketing, Facebook groups marketing, Facebook messenger marketing, email list generation and marketing, etc.

Requirements

Experience & background

Degree in Business, Marketing, Statistics, Digital Media, or E-commerce is preferred
Experience in a marketing or growth hacking role for an eCommerce business preferred
Experience with SEO and SEM preferred
Experience with PR, brand management, influencer marketing preferred
